Our range of concrete curing blankets, also referred to as frost blankets or thermal concrete blankets, are curated to protect concrete during construction. Curing blankets are used during the drying process to protect against unruly weather – rain, hail, snow and heatwaves. Extremely cold or warm environments can majorly disrupt drying times, causing long project delays which can cost companies thousands. The blankets are 100% waterproof and resistant to waterlogging, so no loss of insulating value.

We provide curing blankets for all types of concrete including hollow core and beams, as well as specially produced blankets for culverts. Our blankets variations include the following:

Our bespoke concrete curing blankets are not only durable and provide years of security, they are lightweight and easy to use. One of the main benefits is they provide a cost-effective solution as they can be reused for years, reducing the purchase of disposable materials. We have created covers unlike conventional polythene (polyethylene) materials specifically with longevity in mind.

The PVC is 1050gsm industrial strength with added reinforced edges and high-frequency welding. The PVC is then specially coated so it will outlast alternatives. This allows prevention of water build up, eradicating dirt and mildew.

Speaking with our customers, we know a major benefit is decreased curing times and savings. Our customer feedback has indicated that the insulated blanket paid back in less than 6 months due to reduced amount of cement required and heating oil on the bed.

We have created concrete curing blankets which are suitable for use indoor and outdoor with the purpose of servicing all industries dealing with various locations for concrete manufacturing. This ranges from small companies laying driveways to larger companies curing concrete for wind turbine bases.

The 1050gsm material thickness we use specifically for these blankets allows for great heat retention, a particularly important factor for those working with concrete in colder conditions. This is completely protective up to -30°C/-22°F. The same logic applies to hotter climates, whereby the insulation will keep the concrete underneath it cool and is protective up to +70°C/158°F. Adding to the longevity, the covers are manufactured with ultraviolet light stabilisers to protect against UV degradation.
